International is a 2002 greatest hits collection from New Order. It was released only in a few countries-United Kingdom notably excluded, although imports were available. As it came out in the same year as the 45 disc Retro compilation, many New Order fans did not purchase International, particularly those fans in the countries in which it was never sold. The discography of New Order, an English rock band, consists of 10 studio albums, 12 compilation albums, five live albums, five extended plays EPs, 43 singles, 12 video releases, 37 music videos and a number of soundtrack appearances. New Order were formed in 1980 by singer and guitarist Bernard Sumner, bassist Peter Hook and drummer Stephen Morris. The group began life as a continuation of their former incarnation Joy Division. Joy Division had disbanded after the death of the lead singer Ian. A number of bands have decided to pay tribute to New Order by recording tribute albums. A tribute album is a collection of covers from either one, or several artists, of music originally by another artist. There are several New Order tribute albums on the market. It certainly didn't need three tracks from 2001's Get Ready.
