I found this one in a record shop, and wanted to skip it until i discovered that there's a sweet synth-pop cover version of Velvet Undergrounds "Femme Fatale" on the B-Side. So this record is maybe worth a listen, even if you don't get what the rest is all about (like me). Oh, and the cover artwork is from Anton Corbijn!
So the bizarre hodgepodge that is "Dr. Mabuse Der Spieler (An International Incident)" is really a trailer for the 12" single. How very odd.
Not when you consider the project like a movie. It made sense in the 80s. :)
